Atlas buys automotive supplier US Farathane


Atlas Holdings, which owns and operates 26 companies and more than 300 facilities worldwide, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire US Farathane (USF) from The Gores Group. The transaction is expected to close in Q2 of 2023. Headquartered in Auburn


Hills, Michigan, and with 18 manufacturing facilities in the US, Mexico and China, USF is a manufacturing partner to automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, providing injection mould- ed, compression moulded, and extruded products for the interior and exterior of vehicles. Arburg’s hub for


innovation Machine manufacturer Arburg has opened a new location in Karlsruhe, Germany, which will be known as the Innovation Hub. The location is de- scribed as ideal because computer science courses are offered at the nearby Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, which aligns with the company’s ethos of promoting digitalisation alongside traditional manufacturing processes. Haitian reveals plans for Serbian facility


Chinese injection moulding machinery group Haitian International has held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new production facility in Ruma, Serbia. It plans to start construction work later this year.
