Arburg celebrates centenary with new Allrounder models
German machine manufacturer Arburg is celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the Hehl family business with the introduction of new models in its hybrid Allrounder 470 H portfolio. Compared to a hydraulic machine,
the new Allrounder 470 H boasts an energy footprint up to 50% better and can save up to 12,000 kg of CO2 per year. The hybrid machine also incorpo- rates technical innovations only available from Arburg. A new, patent- pending oil management concept, for example, reduces the oil requirement by around 35% and flow rate splitting enables simultaneous movements of hydraulic auxiliary axes. The dry cycle time is also reduced while the Arburg servo-hydraulic system (ASH) facilitates improved energy-efficient and low-emission operation. The Allrounder 470 H has been available in the Comfort and Premium
