PFAS issues to be covered at Cleveland Expos


The implications of future PFAS regulations will be addressed during conference sessions at the AMI Plastics World Expos, held in Cleve- land, USA on 13-14 November. Attendees will hear an overview of global PFAS challenges from Ruxan- dra Cana, partner at leading legal firm Steptoe, in a keynote talk on Wednes- day 13 November in the Compound- ing Theatre. In addition, leading experts on


PFAS regulations will come together for a panel discussion on the topic on Thursday 14 November 14 in the Extrusion Theatre. The panelists include: Jay West, senior director for chemical products and technology at the American Chemistry Council; Kathryn Skaggs, partner at Keller and Heckman; and Tom Lee, PFAS team leader at BCLP Law. The event will also provide oppor- tunities to discover the latest develop- ments in alternatives to PFAS polymer processing aids (PPAs). For example, Frank Neuber, technical field specialist at Clariant, will introduce organic, PFAS-free processing aids in his talk on Wednesday 13 November in the Testing and Technology Theatre.
