Visitors to the event can attend a free conference in the Plastics Extrusion World Expo theatre. Here, industry experts will make presentations on subjects including industry trends, market opportunities and technology updates. There will be four industry debates
across the two days, focusing on plastic pipes, flexible packaging, women in plastics, and sustainable packaging. Panellists in the Women in Plastics debate include Lora Liang, senior research fellow at Azek, and Lori Carson, market development manager at Phoenix Technologies. Panellists in the pipe debate, which will look at trends and innovations, include Kola Ayinuola – manager of material science at Advanced Drainage Systems – and Sarah Patterson, hydrostatic stress board chair at the Plastics Pipe Institute (PPI).
