Hoping for many drinks to come! Early Mushroom Days, memories of chaos and
competition. Jos Van de Ponseele from Sac O2 and Roel Dreve, Mushroom Business, in stands next to each other. Over coffee and quick ciga- rette breaks lifelong friendships were forged and advertising contracts signed. From then on – somewhere foreign and far away from home – that beer at the end of yet another mushroom event tasted good, shared with a friend. Years later, when Sac O2 organized their own event, WoodFungi, Roel was there, taking risks, backing us, helping us make it grandiose.
Here’s to you Roel, thank you, hoping for many drinks to come!
