She was overwhelmed with enthusiastic reactions from home and abroad and believes there is a great future ahead for growing truffles in the Nether- lands. “The presence of the summer truffle in ten locations in the wild goes to show that the soil and climate are suitable for truf- fle growing in the Netherlands. This offers perspectives for truffle growing here.” The key ingredients for truffles are the right soil, expertly inoculated host trees and a good adviser!
