ver 100 of the world’s top UAV manufacturers and ven- dors will exhibit their solutions at the 2019 Commercial UAV Expo Americas. They will be displaying airframes, components, software and services as well as end-to-
end solutions focused on commercial applications. Industries cov- ered include construction, energy & utilities, forestry & agriculture, infrastructure & transportation and surveying & mapping. The conference program addresses topics such as the regulatory landscape, safe integration of UAV’s into the airspace, and disrup- tive UAV technologies. There is a special conference session dedi- cated to forestry & agriculture. This session will provide you with insights into how farmers are implementing aerial tools and how to efficiently use drones to achieve higher yields by identifying problems before they happen. Seeing drones in action before you invest in a system provides much-needed insight into their capabilities and visitors have the opportunity to see and compare systems demonstrated in re- al-world scenarios. Not only will airframe and sensor capabilities be showcased, but a sophisticated set-up will allow users to view resulting data sets and processing solutions for the full end-to-end view of the technology solutions on display. Drone experts will be on-hand to narrate live scenarios and field questions from the au- dience. The live outdoor drone demonstrations will take place on Monday, 28 October 28 at Henderson Equestrian Park North (HEPN). Registration is required for this event at an additional $ 50.
Venue and costs The 5th
annual Commercial UAV Expo Americas takes place from
28 to 30 October 2019 at the Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Ve- gas. Exhibits are free to visit for anyone who registers in advance (until 27 October) for the event. Full conference passes are $ 670 until 15 September, $ 770 until 27 October and $ 870 at the event.
