2020: The digital feed journey
t’s hard to imagine that this is the last edition of 2020. This year has turned out completely different to what we all had expected. One and a half year ago I started this exciting journey in the role of editor of All About Feed, and I imagined what great trips I would make, the companies I would visit and the people I would meet. Diving into the world of feed. This turned out to be mostly an online dive. And, although I would rather
have discovered the feed world physically, it was still a great year. I enjoyed many digital conferences and talks and learned some new skills as host of our All About Feed webinars. With the holidays ahead, it’s now time to look ahead to 2021. What will this new year bring, what will be the major trends in the feed industry? I think it’s abun- dantly clear that sustainability will play an even more important role in feed production in the years ahead. On the All About Feed online platform and in the magazines next year we will make sure we keep you informed about this development. However, on page 6 of this edition you can already read about this major trend and how it will impact the feed industry. I’m looking forward to a new year with new opportunities and hopefully visiting a live event again. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a healthy, successful 2021!
