Zūm employs the use of an extensive toolkit for safety training that was developed in partnership with leading
industry safety experts. The program covers topics such as building relationships with students, social and emotional development, identifying bul- lying, emergency procedures, de-escalation strategies and special education students. “We focus on contin-
ued training, it’s not just a one-time training,” Narayan noted. “And since we have comprehensive, video-based technology we can also get feedback from parents on driv- er training.” She pointed out that while
