There was a surprising, feathered addition to security at this year’s Southampton International Boat Show – Rufus the hawk. With bird-related chip theft rife at the show, and in Southampton generally, Rufus was hired as head of 'seagull' security to scare gulls away, stopping them from stealing people’s snacks.
