HEADING INTO AN EXCITING YEAR WELCOME

ith 2024 drawing to a close, thoughts may turn to what adventures 2025 will bring. Here at the RYA we’re approaching the new year with more excitement than usual as we’ll be marking our 150-year anniversary.


˃˥˘ˣ˔˥˔˧˜˦ ˔˥˘ ˨˗˘˥˔ ˧ ˖˘˘˕˥˔˧˘ ˧˛˜˦ ˦˜˚˜Ѓ˖˔˧ ˠ˜˘˦˧˘ʡ


It’s a chance to harness our history, reminisce over past achievements and highlight what we stand for. But, above all, we hope it’ll inspire more people to be together on water, building on skills and trying new activities. In this issue, we look back at some of this year’s achievements across the boating community. We meet winners from two of this summer’s international Sailability championships, hear about young people in an ˨˥˕˔ ˖ˠˠ˨˜˧ Ѓ˗˜˚ ˖Ѓ˗˘˖˘ ˧˛˘ ˔˧˘˥ ˔˗ ˙˘˘ ˣ˦˜˧˜˩˘ for the future of electric boating with the 18-year-old skipper who circumnavigated Great Britain in an eRIB.
