The RYA is undertaking work to restore and protect marine habitats at five sites around the UK. Working with partners on the LIFE Recreation ReMEDIES project, we’ll be planting seagrass seeds in Plymouth Sound. Seagrass is an important home for wildlife such as seahorses and young fish, and helps regulate healthy seas. The RYA has also published a guide to greener mooring, to help boaters minimise the harm caused to these delicate environments by traditional anchors.
