The advanced knowledge level is perfect for students wishing to progress to the RYA Coastal Skipper practical course and the RYA/MCA Yachtmaster™ Certificates of Competence.

RYA Training Charts 3 and 4
Two practice Training Charts are needed to complete the exercises and assessments.
Chart 3 is a passage chart for general navigation and Chart 4 is a pilotage chart showing detailed chartlets of areas within Chart 3. They should be used in conjunction with the Training Almanac.

Additional books covering navigation, collision regulations and safety in more detail are available to supplement your studies. Most books are available as eBooks which can be downloaded.
