They can stand up to harsh cleaning chemicals, require no polishing or sealing and are completely resistant to scratches and stains, unlike real marble. These qualities make them ideal for both floors and walls in bathrooms and kitchens, or even as kitchen worktops (in greater thicknesses) as they are also heat resistant. Anti-slip finishes can be applied if required and if you opt for the large-format slabs, fewer grout lines means easier cleaning.


Considering all these things, it seems we really can have our own hotel-chic, marble-effect bathroom without any of the drawbacks and even some added benefits!
