SMALL & MIGHTY
For Decocer’s appearance at Cersaie 2025, the company presented Echoes of the Earth, a stand that transforms ceramics into essence.
Decocer returned to Cersaie, the international fair for ceramics and design, in Italy last month, with a signature space that transformed material into an architectural experience. Under the title Echoes of the Earth, the stand designed by architect Hector Ruiz Velazquez presented as a material manifesto that champions expressiveness, sustainability, and the versatility of small formats.
ECHOES OF THE EARTH
The pavilion emerges from a large ceramic mass, opened in an organic, human gesture that invites visitors to enter. In just 65m², it demonstrates that ceramics can become structure, space, and narrative. Three monumental cylinders, inspired by natural tree trunks and entirely constructed from small-format pieces, create an immersive journey where the material guides movement.
Decocer’s proposal at Cersaie 2025 stands out for transforming ceramics into a true architectural language, capable of transcending its function as a mere surface covering to become structure, space, and experience.
The pavilion condenses an innovative vision into a compact space: a modular and sustainable installation, dismantlable and reusable, that invites visitors to walk through, touch, and inhabit the ceramics. Its organic design, inspired by nature, demonstrates that small-format tiles do not merely cover surfaces – they can shape atmospheres, tell stories, and move visitors through the power of material.
