Developed exclusively for Topps Tiles, BAL’s new Rapid XP Plus three-in- one adhesive offers fixers the unique ability to mix by their own terms.
Fixers can mix either a high grab wall adhesive, a traditional floor adhesive, or a thick bed pourable floor adhesive by using the different water ratios stated.
As a unique three-in-one adhesive with Xtra Performance, BAL Rapid XP is the only bag needed on a tiling project.
BAL Rapid XP Plus provides extended open and working times – with 30 minutes open time and 60 minutes working time (or pot life). Tiling projects can also be finished in double quick time, with grouting possible after just three hours at whatever mix consistency – wall, floor or pour.
Formulated with Fibre Strand Technology (FST), it provides high grab and non-slip properties on walls even with large-format tiles, and high strength on floors – perfect for highly trafficked floors.

With S1 deformability, Rapid XP Plus is highly flexible, meaning it can be used on key installations, such as over underfloor heating and areas with limited movement.
Mix with a little extra water and the product becomes a thick bed pourable adhesive – with no loss of performance.
As a pourable adhesive, BAL Rapid XP Plus provides performance that’s equivalent to BAL PTB Fibre Plus:
• Use up to 25mm bed depth with no slumping;
• Achieves solid bed fixing - no need to back butter tiles on flat surfaces;
• Perfect for large-format tiles and uncalibrated natural stone;
• Can be poured over large areas;
• High gel, thixotropic formulation that’s easy to trowel.
BAL Rapid XP Plus can be used to fix most tile types including mosaics, ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, brick slips and terrazzo. It is particularly recommended for large- format wall and floor tiles.
