Entry to the 2019 Surface Design Awards is now open!

The Surface Design Show has proudly announced that entry to the 2019 Surface Design Awards is now open.

Now in their seventh year, the Awards will not be short of variety, with projects entries from 16 different countries entering in 2018. There are 13 Awards across seven different categories, with most categories being divided into exterior and interior.

Moduleo Celebrates 2018 Exhibition Success

Luxury vinyl flooring manufacturer Moduleo is celebrating after an impressive start to the 2018 exhibition season with stands at London’s Retail Design Expo, held at Olympia London, and a three-day stint at Clerkenwell Design Week. The events, which each attracted tens of thousands of delegates, are staples of Moduleo’s exhibition calendar.

At both events, Moduleo showcased its diverse product portfolio of stone- and wood-effect designs, as well as new lines from its Impress collection, which proved particularly popular.

The 2019 judging panel will be co- chaired by Christophe Egret of Studio Egret West and Paul Priestman of PriestmanGoode. They are joined by six fellow professionals from the architecture and design world: Cany Ash, Ash Sakula Architects; James Soane, Project Orange; Jeremy Offer, Arrival; Katie Greenyer, Pentland Brands; Paul Edwards, Airbus; Roz Barr, Roz Barr Architects.

In 2018, there were 30 finalists, 13 of which were located in the UK. AL_A won the honour of becoming the Surface Design Awards Supreme Winner in 2018 for their stunning project The Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (MAAT), in Lisbon.
