Hello and welcome to the January/February issue of Tomorrow’s Retail Floors- the first of 2018!
Whilst I’m not usually the type to make New Year’s resolutions, I have been
inspired to make changes and freshen up the content of TRF this year. This is a work in progress at the moment but I would love to hear what you would like to see in future editions so please get in touch with me if you have any ideas.
One change that I have decided to implement is a slight twist on our usual ‘Trends Focus’ feature. In an attempt to brighten up the magazine, this year we will add a different splash of colour to each instalment. This time we have
decided to focus on variations of the colour purple, inspired by Pantone’s ‘Colour of the Year’- Ultra Violet. Check out our spread to find out how your customer can inject a pop of purple to their home, whilst also keeping things practical.
In keeping with trends of 2018, we also have expert comment on what styles to
look out for this year in our Carpets, Rugs & Accessories feature section. If you’re looking for insight on rug trends, have a look at the article from Nick Acaster, Managing Director of Rugs Direct, for advice on what stock will keep your
customers happy. If it’s carpets you’re interested in, we also have advice from the likes of United Carpets & Beds and Brushtec.
For customers who want to update their home with a new kitchen floor, our
