SAFETY & HEALTH EXPO SHOW GUIDE

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & WELLBEING ZONE The health and safety profession is experiencing a shift. Industry-wide there’s a definitive need for a more holistic approach to all-inclusive wellbeing as well as an acknowledgement of the huge benefits that this brings to employees and businesses alike. These concerns are reflected in this year’s event, which has launched a brand new Occupational Health and Wellbeing Zone to help inspire practitioners.

In proud partnership with NEBOSH, HSE, IOSH and RoSPA, Safety & Health Expo is driving this shift within the profession, acting as a catalyst for a more inclusive approach and serving the profession in an increasingly integrated and effective manner.

The new Occupational Health & Wellbeing Zone will have a dedicated seminar theatre sponsored by Acre, which will include industry leaders sharing their own personal stories for improving wellbeing in the workplace. The zone also gives you access to a variety of relaxation zones - plus visitors will be able to take part in yoga classes in the very heart of the show.

VIRTUAL REALITY IN HEALTH AND SAFETY Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service are using VR Technology to give drivers a totally immersive look at a pre-crash environment, giving them the chance to spot causation factors through to the actual accident. Try it out and learn about other applications for VR in health and safety.

THE PROFESSIONAL CLOTHING SHOW The Professional Clothing Show will once again form a key part of the event, actively showcasing new and innovative workwear inclusive of footwear, gloves, badges and ties alongside PPE solutions. The PCS fashion show will give the chance to see innovations from leading suppliers demonstrated by catwalk models.

THE SAFETY & HEALTH EXPO KEYNOTE

Topics will include wellbeing and good mental health, advice for women to help develop strong leadership skills and how to perform under pressure, to give away just a few details.

CPD ACCREDITED SEMINARS As well as the latest solutions on the market, Safety & Health Expo will offer CPD accredited seminars covering the latest legislation and guidance updates, with tips on creating a positive safety culture and successfully embedding health and safety within your organisation.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ZONE This theatre supports leaders and future leaders of the profession, with seminars focussed on career development and qualifications, soft skills and behavioural safety and culture. Something that we do not always get a chance to improve in our normal day.

LONE WORKER AND DRIVE SAFETY THEATRE Working alone has many safety challenges and can cause a variety of responsibilities for the safety professional. This theatre looks to help with best practice examples in lone worker health and safety. Speakers representing RoSPA, HSE and DriveTech amongst others, will take to the stage to share their experiences.
