CT1065ST MAXIMUM CUT PROTECTION SAFETY GLOVE
by MCR Safety The CT1065ST was exclusively developed by MCR Safety for high cut-risk environments. Features: •
Cut Level ‘F’, highest possible ranking.
• • • •
18 Gauge, featherweight, soft, breathable, and highly dexterous. Robust reinforcement between thumb and forefinger. Revolutionary New PURATEC coating. Touch-screen fingertips.
• DMF & Silicon free. Revolutionary New PURTEC Coating:
• Water-based for purity PURATEC is a water-based coating completely free from DMF and silicon. This means zero skin irritation and zero odour. It uses safe dyes guaranteeing no migration of pigment onto the skin or other contact surfaces. It’s also non-allergenic.
• No risk of silicone erosion Silicone is common in glove dip formulas; it becomes atomized in the air and deposits on surfaces. This causes erosion which is detrimental in industrial environments. PURATEC has no silicon so no deposits and no risk of erosion.
• • All round good grip
Although the coating is smooth, the grip is strong. You’ll get a secure hold on a dry object or surface and also anything wet or slightly oily. PURATEC has been tested against Nitrile foam coatings and is proven to be superior for its grip.
Flexibility and comfort
The incredible flexibility of PURATEC allows the glove to follow the contours of your hand. Because it has material memory, when stretched, it will always return to the correct ergonomic fit. Even on very large or very small hands, once you have the correct glove size, the comfort is exceptional.
• Touchscreen
There’s no need to remove CT1065ST to operate touch screen machinery or tech. The smooth finish of the coating works with your hand movement and acts like a second skin – your touchscreen devices won’t notice the difference! Obviously, the time-saving benefits and convenience factor speak for themselves.
CT1065ST is a great technological step forward for glove manufacturing.

DSE ASSESSMENT TOOL
by iHASCO iHASCO has developed an updated version of their DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessment tool, which is provided alongside the eLearning provider’s IOSH approved DSE training course. Employees will be prompted to undertake the online assessment on completion of their training. Fully interactive, the assessment can provide advice and record any outstanding concerns with DSE setup so issues can be simply resolved by an employer, whilst keeping a historical record of any communication. This avoids the need for unnecessary paperwork and filing, as well as allowing employees who are working remotely to easily undergo an assessment.
Users will be able to complete the online assessment, in around 10 minutes, by selecting answers on important questions to ensure their safety when using DSE. It consists of eight topics including work equipment, chairs, screens and devices and the environment around their workstations. Full integration with a Learning Management System ensures employers are instantly notified of any issues raised by employees, whilst keeping employees updated with any responses.
Under the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992, an employer is obliged to carry out DSE assessments to help protect DSE users from the health risks associated with its use: such as RSI, headaches, eyestrain, back problems and other musculoskeletal issues. This interactive assessment allows organisations to work towards DSE compliance with ease and help prevent absenteeism from these types of workplace injury.
