HAVSENSE

by HAVSco Ltd HAVSense is a unique system, which measures and records the actual vibration exposure, at the point where the vibrations enter the hand, from any tool, any process, any operation or task to anyone, without programming assumed vibration magnitudes, has proved to be a sensible, pragmatic approach to reducing the risk from HAV exposure. Armed with real exposure data, measured from any scenario on the ‘shop floor’ in any environment, the health and safety manager is able to complete the all-important risk assessment, provide effective controls for the employees and evaluate their effectiveness at reducing HAVs exposure, a win-win situation, for all concerned.

By taking into account all the variables which affect vibration exposure, such as the condition of the tool, material type being worked on, position and grip of the operative, the HAVSense system empowers the manager with real data, irrespective of which tools are used, how they are used or what they are used for, just simple HAV exposure recordings.

Armed with just one dosimeter, the person responsible can assess the personal exposure from tools, tasks, processes or even products and manage HAV exposure effectively and economically.

Havsco Ltd are delighted to be shortlisted for The Tomorrow’s Health and Safety Awards 2021. Following an ‘interesting’ year, HAVSco has continued to increase year on year, deployment of the HAVSense, The Hand Arm Vibration monitoring and assessment system, to a wide range of customers from many sectors of the UK economy and abroad.
