An innovative underfloor heating system that promises to cut installation time by up to 70% is now available in complete box sets, to fit all common UK room sizes.
Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT-E, created by market leading manufacturer Schlüter-Systems, leaves other conventional systems out in the cold as the perfect all-in-one integrated solutions for use under tiles and natural stone flooring.
The unique system, which boasts an extremely low assembly height of just 5.5mm, comes in nine different box sets, of varying sizes, to accommodate all common tiled areas, such as bathrooms, en- suites and kitchens.
The sets contain everything needed for optimal underfloor heating including a thermostat, uncoupling mat and heating cable. Not only this, but the system can also be easily waterproofed by sealing the matting joints with Schlüter-KERDI-KEBA sealing band and Schlüter-KERDI-COLL sealing adhesive, offering a guaranteed waterproofing solution.
Ideal for refurbishment and renovation projects thanks to its uncoupling and crack-bridging properties, Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT-E, that can also be bought as individual components, is unlike anything else available due to its loose heating cables which are fixed down to the uncoupling mat free of tape as a result of its unique studded design. Offering optimum freedom for creating concentrated heating zones as well as providing uniform spacing without the need for measuring and marking, the new system will dramatically cut installation time by up to 70%.
