Welcome to the definitive flooring industry guide, the Tomorrow’s Flooring Yearbook 2014/15. Inside you will find all you need to know about the products and services available on the market today, and the companies offering them. We’ve worked hard to make the information as accessible as possible, from the alphabetised order to an easy- to-read format, viewable on your phone and tablet for when you’re on the move and need a solution fast.

When a financial year comes to an end, it’s very easy to look backwards; what didn’t go so well, which project lost money, which month was the hardest. But it’s important to look forward too, and to focus on what you’ll do differently over the next year and how you plan to grow and evolve. That’s why, in our lead feature, I spoke to a selection of companies within our industry to find out their plans for the next 12 months. Turn to page six to find out what they said.

Every yearbook, we feature a page for ‘Useful Contacts’ (see page 12). Whilst putting together this guide, I had to ensure that every organisation on that list is still in business; it was a pleasure to see that they all are, which feels quite representative of the industry as a whole. We’ve all had our challenges over the last year but we’re still standing, and not just that – we’re thriving. The outlook is positive, and I hope that the Editor’s Note for 2015/16 reads the same – I’m certainly optimistic.
