SAVE MONEY WITH P50 SERVICE-FREE FIRE

EXTINGUISHERS The P50 fire extinguisher offers you substantial cost savings. In fact, you’ll save more than 50% on your fire extinguisher and maintenance costs over a ten-year period. Its unique construction means that P50 extinguishers are service-free and do not require an external fire extinguisher engineer to visit your site. Instead, Safelincs will train your staff to carry out a simple visual inspection, avoiding the need for ongoing visits. You can carry out your annual visual inspection at a time that is convenient to you, with no disruption to your customers or visitors on site. In addition, the P50 can help you meet your environmental targets, too.

These extinguishers are largely recyclable and have a 20-year life span (with a refurb required after 10 years). Unlike traditional steel extinguishers you don’t have to test and discharge them every five years and due to their robust corrosion- proof construction, they will not fail due to rust, flaking paint or internal corrosion even in the harshest of environments. They have an impressive 10-year warranty.

The P50 foam extinguisher helps to reduce the number of fire extinguishers you will need at your site. The P50 foam extinguisher can be used on class A (flammable solids), B (flammable liquids) and fires involving live electricity up to 1000 Volts. This means that you can replace your traditional combination of a standard foam or water and a CO2 extinguisher with one P50

foam extinguisher. Installing only one type of extinguisher avoids decision-paralysis and leads to the successful and faster extinction of any fire occurring.

P50 service-free fire extinguishers are made in the UK and are Kitemarked to BS EN3 by BSI and CE marked, so you can be assured that they are manufactured to the highest quality and performance standards.

Many facility management companies, such as Kier and Mitie, have already made the switch and are enjoying the benefits of the P50 extinguisher. Safelincs can offer a bespoke introduction to enable you to change over to the P50 in a way that fits in with your needs.

When you purchase P50 service-free fire extinguishers from Safelincs, the company will include a free site survey, ensuring that you install only the number of extinguishers that you require, full installation of your new extinguishers, wall signs, certification and training so that your staff are fully competent in carrying out the annual visual inspection. Safelincs can also provide you with a free online fire logbook with a free reminder prompt when an inspection is due. This online logbook can help you keep track of all your fire safety inspections, including fire alarms, emergency lights and fire drills.

Switch to P50 service-free extinguishers today and start saving.

NOVUS TO EXCEED GROWTH TARGETS FOLLOWING

CONTRACT WINS Novus Property Solutions has reported ending the summer on a high having secured more than £23m in new business in August and September.

The news comes just three months after the national build, maintenance and compliance contractor welcomed

its new CEO, industry veteran Steve Davies, and just six months after the company announced ambitious growth targets for the next five years. Following this spate of contract wins, Novus says it is “on-course to achieve and even exceed its goals.”

The bulk of the work has been secured through Novus’ core Maintain service, with some significant wins for the company’s Assure service too, with work set

to take place across the country, from Scotland to the South East. In addition to impressive individual contract wins, the business has been appointed to five new frameworks during this period.
