Hello and welcome to the July edition of Tomorrow’s FM, I hope you are all well and finally recovered from the chaos of the Facilities Show. At TFM HQ
some have been making the most of the tennis on the office television, whilst others have been preparing for their holidays.
If you are off on your jollies this month, hopefully you will be taking your
handy digital edition of Tomorrow’s FM with you, to keep abreast of industry issues whilst you’re out of the office. For those stuck firmly at their desks, I hope to be able to provide some light relief with some informative features and comment from industry professionals.
In this issue we will be looking at Food & Drink Services; with the help of
Lusso and allmanhall, we explore some on-the-go options and some healthy treats for offices and meetings. We’re also looking at the importance of
cyber security in Social Housing & Community Facilities, where a leisure centre sports hall also receives a lighting makeover.
We’re heading into the great outdoors too, exploring the need for appropriate garden maintenance schemes and ways to bring some
greenery indoors with Urban Planters and DRP’s Vicky Lopez. Whilst in our Health & Safety section, Deb ensure you’re keeping safe in the sunshine
with appropriate UV protection and CH&Co Group discuss the importance of hygiene accreditations to the food industry.
Elsewhere, we also have an update from Liz Kentish, who shares her
experiences of mentor-mentee relationships, with a Star Wars twist. Whilst Cordant Cleaning’s Guy Pakenham talks holidaying in France with his family and having dinner with Hugh Laurie, in our 10 Questions With... feature, so there should be plenty to keep you entertained, wherever you are!
