WEST YORKSHIRE OFFICES BENEFIT FROM
BOILERMAG FILTER An office building in Castleford, West Yorkshire, has enjoyed a complete boiler room refit complete with new boiler, pressurisation equipment, pipework and large heating system filter from BoilerMag.
Installed by Selby-based Frogmech UK, the heating system supplies more than 40 radiators at Hansons Accountants, who provide a wide range of accountancy services throughout Yorkshire.
Lawrence Walsh, Managing Director at Frogmech Ltd, said: “The BoilerMag XL will remove all debris from the heating system, offering lifetime protection to boiler and pumps while gaining better efficiencies within the heating system.”
Along with the BoilerMag XL, Frogmech installed a stainless steel Stovis R40 boiler to replace the old case iron sectional boiler which was
AQ FRESH PROFESSIONAL TO BE MADE AVAILABLE
Aqdot, the UK-based supramolecular chemistry company, is making its patented technology Aq Fresh Professional available for the first time under license and supply agreement to professional cleaning product manufacturers.
The technology, which neutralises bad smells, can be utilised in a wide variety of applications; from professional cleaning to household and personal care in sprays, impregnated materials and solid sachets.
Aq Fresh Professional is highly versatile and can be used in wet and dry form, fragrance free or alongside fragrances, which it enhances. It is ideal to use in air and fabric freshening products and in high performance cleaning products; and is particularly complementary to products that use enzymes to clean and remove odours. It can also suppress unpleasant odours from most cleaning chemicals.

It works as an odour neutraliser instead of an odour masking agent. Bad odour molecules are quickly attracted to the Aq Fresh molecules, which in turn capture bad odours and erase them.
The key benefits of Aq Fresh Professional are:
• Fast-acting, long-lasting, fragrance-free odour removal developed with Cambridge University
• Highly versatile – works in powder, liquid form, paper products, as a coating or in films and is effective in highly diluted formulations
• Human and pet friendly. Ideal to use fragrance free in professional care situations like nurseries, care-homes and hospitals, where people are sensitive to strong fragrances and allergies
• Effective on a wide range of different malodours
• Environmentally friendly, Cradle to Cradle Platinum accredited.
located in the basement area of the building.
With careful planning, Frogmech was able to deconstruct the old boiler and remove it from the site, before installing the new boiler, as well as new pressurisation equipment and pipework within the boiler room. A full power flush of the system was also carried out, along with a dose of BM1 inhibitor chemical to ensure continued protection against scale formulation and metal corrosion and maintaining heating efficiency.
“Installing BoilerMags couldn’t be easier,” Lawrence continued. “We have used them for the past five years and never experienced any issues at all. They’re well-made pieces of kit, nice and simple to use and install, and they’re competitively priced. Because of that, we regularly recommend them to other installers.”

Hugh Rathbone, Chief Commercial Officer at Aqdot said: “We are looking to License & Supply the Aq Fresh Professional technology to forward-thinking manufacturers who are wanting to develop and launch superior performing products.
“For many people
the fragrances in professional cleaning products are too strong and too artificial and for some they cause or exacerbate allergic reactions. This can be resolved when using Aq Fresh Professional. Aqdot also has its own proven ready-to-go air and fabric fresheners that use the Aq Fresh Pure technology and are available for white label opportunities.”
