EARZZ AND CAREVISION JOIN FORCES TO ENHANCE PROACTIVE CARE MANAGEMENT AND
FALL PREVENTION EARZZ, a provider of AI-powered fall prevention technology, and CAREVision, a specialist in care planning and record-keeping soſtware, have announced a strategic partnership to help prevent falls and enable proactive care management. This collaboration aims to seamlessly integrate EARZZ’s AI powered acoustic monitoring technology that allows care teams to remotely monitor the well- being of residents with CAREVision’s comprehensive care home management solution, offering a unified approach to improved resident safety, operational efficiency, and enhanced care quality for mutual customers of CAREVision and EARZZ.
Enabling fall prevention and proactive care management: EARZZ’s AI- powered early alerts enable carers to respond swiſtly when movement noise is recognised in the resident’s room, helping prevent falls and reduce the risk of serious injuries. EARZZ also specifically identifies and alerts carers to other health related sounds in residents’ rooms - like screaming, coughing amongst others.

EARZZ keeps digital records of events relating to sounds of concern in residents’ rooms, helping provide carers and managers with automated health and well being trends enabling data insights for pain management, infections and fall prevention. The integration between CAREVision and EARZZ now aims to make this information available within CAREVision’s electronic care management system, which serves as a repository of all recorded data and care planning about a resident, from pre-admission stage through to end of care or discharge. The integration can therefore help provide more context to carers about the health and wellbeing of residents, enabling proactive care management.
Improved care coordination: Integrating EARZZ and CAREVision streamlines workflows within care homes. More specifically, the integration enables:
● Digital room check evidencing: Offering an integrated approach to ensuring carer’s physical presence in room to register room checks
● Easier staff handover: by enabling direct access to attendance times along with access to digital records of the sounds of concern recognised in resident rooms. In addition, any notes from carers taken in the EARZZ app will also be catalogued automatically within CAREVision enabling unified care record access.
● Centralised Information: Care planning becomes significantly easier when all
relevant data is integrated into a single platform. The integration enables a unified approach not only saving time for carers, but also ensuring that carers have the information they need at their fingertips within the CAREVision ecosystem.
Non-intrusive monitoring technology: One of the significant advantages of EARZZ’s technology is its non-intrusive nature. Unlike cameras or audio relay based alerting solutions, EARZZ uses AI powered sound recognition technology, which preserves residents’ privacy. The solution does not record conversations or personal interactions, ensuring dignity and privacy are maintained.
