DOSING EQUIPMENT INNOVATIVE DISPENSING SOLUTIONS

Find out why Hydro Systems Europe invests so heavily in promoting the very latest in dosing technology.

Hydro Systems Europe is the European operation of Hydro Systems Company of Cincinnati, Ohio in the United States, the worlds' largest manufacturer of dilution and dosing systems for concentrated chemicals. Hydro Systems Europe covers markets throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, and offers a comprehensive range of application-specifi c solutions from mechanical hand pumps and water- activated dilution dispensers, to fully automated, electronically-controlled dosing systems for warewash and laundry applications.

Hydro believes that one of its key strengths is to provide customers with a genuine 'One Stop Shop' capability, responding to the requirements of a very wide spectrum of applications. The company invests heavily in product development, and now has one of the largest and most experienced engineering teams in the industry. Hydro strives to demonstrate how cleaning performance and effi ciency can be improved through employing the most advanced dilution and chemical dispensing technology.

Best known for a broad range of venturi based dilution systems, it continues to provide the highest standard of equipment, best refl ected by the EvoDose. This innovative, user-friendly dispensing unit, featuring patent pending AccuPro pressure regulation technology that delivers dilution accuracy, regardless of fl uctuations in water pressure, offers easy installation and maintenance, as well as improved tube routing and neatness. The inclusion of an optional pouch delivery system, remote action gun, QDV product selection – diluting up to four products at high or low fl ow – and a MultiFlex bracket system,

for the simple and secure addition of customisable cabinetry, rounds off a feature-packed system.

The wealth of knowledge and experience gained from 50 years in the cleaning and hygiene industry has also enabled Hydro to design and develop an innovative laundry system, the EvoClean. This low maintenance, venturi-based, water- powered laundry unit doesn’t require tube replacement, unlike competitor offerings, and features an integrated control system that can be used with up to eight products, and also offers an integrated fl ush manifold and “out-of-product” alarm. This new venturi technology laundry unit is the most recent addition to an existing stable of peristaltic technology laundry and warewash systems, such as the Total Eclipse, Mercury and Sprite. The venturi range is further complemented with the addition of the EvoChem, the latest evolution in spraying and foaming technology. It offers seven standard confi gurations and includes a choice of product selection, check valves, backfl ow protection, dilution ratios, hoses and lances, as well as frost protection, to meet any customer requirement.

Hydro’s commitment to providing the broadest range of solutions, whatever the application, has led to the development of systems utilising the latest technologies for effective and effi cient cleaning. The EvoDrain represents Hydro’s break from conventional drain cleaning treatments for the build-up of fat, oil and grease (FOG) waste in commercial, institutional and industrial kitchens. The EvoDrain is a Bacteriological Incubator which ‘wakes up’ dormant bacteria, delivering billions of active FOG-eating microbes directly into

the drain, creating a protective biofi lm which lines the walls of drains for on- going protection.

The third technology platform to complete Hydro’s product portfolio is that of proportional injection. Including both piston and diaphragm construction, the Chemilizer, AquaBlend, SuperDos, MiniDos and MicroDos ‘volumetric’ injectors ensure that just the right amount of chemical is injected each and every time, regardless of pressure and fl ow. An adjustable ratio sleeve allows for a quick and easy change in dilution ratio, while chemical costs are reduced due to less waste being created during the injection process.
