ISO 14001 Achieved certification by British Standards under ISO 14001.


(since upgraded to ISO 14001:2015)


W.E.I.R. Launched our own, unique, environmental impact rating system,


to identify which Evans products have the lowest impact.


WATER SAVING A special project enabled us to reduce our consumption of water


for manufacturing processes by three million litres.


CHAMBER LOW CARBON Joined our local chamber of commerce scheme, aimed at


helping businesses improve energy efficiency.


PLANET MARK Became a certified member of Planet Mark, and committed


to reducing our carbon footprint year on year.


GREENTICK WEIR is relaunched as GreenTick, using criteria which align it


with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.


BIODIVERSITY Sponsorship of local beehives to support breeding of native


honeybees and pollination of essential plants and crops.


CARBON REDUCTION Planet Mark certified for fourth year in a row, with a


28% reduction in our measured carbon emissions.
