While many might argue with the vaccine priorities and restriction-easing
methodologies being employed, there’s a genuine feeling that things are going to start getting easier from now on. We’ve spent the best part of a year in and out of difficult, soul-draining lockdowns and restrictions, but with the vaccine rollout continuing at breakneck speed we’re slowly but surely heading out of these for good.
However, it will take a collective effort not to mess things up. We cannot afford to simply revert back to life as normal: we’re potentially quite a long way away from
going back to restriction-free lives just yet. As well as social distancing and limits on gatherings and interactions, cleaning and hygiene will remain utterly vital to
resurrecting society, ensuring people feel safe in shops and workplaces, on public transport and using public facilities.
In this issue of Tomorrow’s Cleaning, we’ve got a major focus on Healthcare Hygiene, with KCP asking whether your washroom is up to snuff for your healthcare facility,
Robert Scott explain why you should keep your stock levels high, and a double dose of Kärcher has Daniel Took chatting to us about effective hospital cleaning, while a Case Study examines work done at the NHS Nightingale London.
We also look at Sustainability in cleaning, with Ecocleen’s Jean-Henri Beukes
discussing why sustainability is the future of commercial cleaning, Cleanology update us on their sustainable aims and objectives, and HSG helps East Midlands Airport fly high with water conservation. Also, in our Window Cleaning and Working at Height section, we take a look at some of the latest innovations from i-Team and UNGER Global.
Thank you very much for reading, please stay safe and enjoy the issue!
