Oxivir Wipes from Diversey offer a fast and convenient way to clean and disinfect surfaces against a wide range of viruses, bacteria, fungi and yeasts.
The wipes contain Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP) as the active ingredient and meet the EN14476 virucidal standard. They are fully virucidal and effective in just 30 seconds against coronaviruses like the one that causes COVID-19. This is up to 10 times faster than wipes that contain ordinary disinfectants. They are believed to be the only wipe on the market that combines this level of cleaning and disinfection in a single product.
The fast action of Oxivir Wipes makes them ideal for settings such as retail and hospitality where additional and more frequent cleaning during the pandemic helps to protect and reassure customers, guests, and staff. The unique formulation of the disinfectant is not classified which helps to make the wipes safe to use on a wide range of surfaces when people are present.
Oxivir Wipes save time because there’s no need to prepare solutions, take special precautions, use additional equipment, and no special training is required. The right amount of disinfectant is always wiped onto the surface for fast and effective performance. The ability to destroy viruses in 30 seconds means the wipes clean and disinfect with a single wipe across a surface. Users can simply wipe and move on.
AHP is a combination of low levels of hydrogen peroxide and a patented blend of commonly used, safe ingredients. This dramatically increases the disinfection potency and cleaning performance of the formulation. AHP degrades to oxygen and water alone shortly after use, helping make formulations containing it safer to use.
Oxivir Wipes are non-corrosive and safe to use on almost any surface including stainless steel, chrome, vinyl, nylon
fabrics, laminated surfaces, glass, rubber, and hard and flexible plastics such as polypropylene, polyurethane, polyethylene, PVC, acrylic, fibreglass and polycarbonate. No rinsing is required.
Oxivir Wipes are non-irritating to the skin, can be used without wearing PPE and carry no safety classification. This means they’re safer to use in public spaces than products using alternative active ingredients or concentrated formulations.
