Out of the blue Kimberly-Clark Professional has launched the WypAll Reach Centrefeed System.

Kimberly-Clark Professional’s new WypAll Reach Centrefeed System provides a versatile light wiping solution for all types of cleaning tasks, including mopping up spillages, cleaning windows and wiping handrails.

The system has been designed to be portable and convenient, and to reduce consumption and waste by over 20% compared to traditional blue rolls, improving both operational and cost efficiencies for FMs.

The WypAll Reach Centrefeed System dispenser is particularly useful in front of house areas including tea and coffee areas, shared kitchens and canteens where the sleek, grey dispenser looks professional and discreet, portraying a positive image to employees and visitors.

The system can replace a traditional blue roll on a cleaning trolley and be used for daily cleaning tasks including wiping desks and surfaces. It provides a fully protected roll with a controlled, single-sheet dispensing system to reduce over a fifth of consumption and waste (Sapio Research, Aug 2018).

Sustainability is high on the agenda for facilities managers. Using undispensed centrefeed blue rolls can create a lot of waste, as individual users can unwind up to two and a half metres each time. In addition, loose blue rolls frequently become damaged from spills and need to be thrown away, creating even more wastage.

The reduction of consumption and paper waste from the WypAll Reach Centrefeed dispenser also means lower shipping costs, fewer trucks on the road and reduced waste disposal costs – all helping facilities managers to meet their sustainability KPIs.

Hygiene is non-negotiable in food preparation areas such as canteens, and the WypAll Reach Centrefeed System has been designed to improve hygiene and reduce cross contamination. It delivers a fully enclosed, one-wipe clean,

hygienic wiping system that helps prevent transmission of foodborne bacteria caused by the handling of exposed blue rolls.

It provides a safer and more efficient alternative to traditional loose centrefeed blue rolls, where multiple users can handle a roll up to 70 times before it’s finished. This creates major concerns in offices and large public buildings where some 80% of illnesses are transmitted on our hands.

The dispenser is supplied with a wall bracket to both house the dispenser or transform it into a wall-mounted system – allowing for the most convenient and flexible usage in front of house and back of house areas.

Ed Borrini, Kimberly-Clark Professional EMEA Senior Brand Manager, WypAll, said: “Maintaining excellent presentation of premises while improving hygiene, sustainability and efficiency should be at the top of the agenda for every facilities manager. We listened to and analysed feedback from our customers and brought them along on the journey to help to develop a system that meets their needs of improving hygiene, while also reducing waste and enhancing their image.

“WypAll is the UK’s No 1 brand in professional wiping paper, and all of the products in the range are designed for a specific task, giving users the confidence that the product will perform every time.

“The WypAll Reach Centrefeed System is convenient, portable and always at hand. It has been designed to look good and perform brilliantly, improving hygiene, and reducing paper usage and waste – therefore saving money while also contributing a positive environmental sustainability gain.”
