QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE THE

FOCUS FOR NEW APP Specialist kitchen deep cleaning contractor DeepClean Hygiene Solutions has launched their custom- built Mobile Quality App.

The company developed the app to ensure speedy and accurate reporting in order to ensure that their clients are compliant with legislation and insurance policy conditions.

Gary Hawkesford, Sales Manager at DeepClean Hygiene Solutions, explained: “There is increasing pressure on operators of commercial kitchens to ensure they have detailed reporting on the condition of their

FANS CLEAN UP AFTER WORLD CUP

VICTORIES With the 2018 World Cup well underway, Japan celebrated their shock victory 2-1 victory over Columbia on 19 June by cleaning up the stadium.

Following the shock victory – the first time Japan’s national team has beaten a South American team at a World Cup – you might expect most fans to leave behind even more rubbish than usual following jubilant celebrations. However this was not the case for Japanese fans, who were spotted meticulously picking up rubbish from between the seats.

grease extraction systems both before and post clean. It is no longer enough to have a certificate on the wall: instead caterers and facilities managers should have details of grease levels, airflow readings and pre/post clean photographic evidence.”

DeepClean Hygiene Solutions’ new technology allows their technical teams to compile the compliance data needed together with shift safety logs and job sign-off sheets before transferring this information instantly to their Head Office in Worcestershire.

Gary added: “This software development is a testimony to a strong Quality Management System and focus on continuous improvement.”

The ‘Samurai Blue’ fans are well known for their manners. Cleanliness is a habit drilled into Japanese people from an early age. Many fans even brought with them plastic bin bags in order to clean up after themselves, and many videos have been shared on social media of the fans clearing the stands, with many even being praised by disappointed Columbia supporters.

It wasn’t just the Samurai Blues who impressed either: many fans of Senegal, who also secured a surprise victory by beating Poland 2-1, were spotted sweeping through the stands collecting rubbish and assembling it into piles.

Sadly, it doesn’t seem like these displays of excellent sportsmanship and responsibility spread to other nations throughout the tournament.
