ITS NEW VALUE PACK Jasper Cochrane is a 24-year kitchen fitter who last October started his very own joinery business, specialising in flooring. Following years of testing out different careers, he decided to follow in his dad's footsteps and took on a joinery apprenticeship. Jasper said: “After completing my apprenticeship, I worked for bigger firms but decided that I’d rather start up my own company, as I wanted to guarantee an excellent finish every time - something which wasn't possible working for a large firm.”


And so it was that Floorcraft was born, which finds self-employed Jasper undertaking all levels of flooring jobs, ranging from small scale domestic, to large scale commercial jobs. “I often work with high-quality materials, which can be pretty nerve wracking sometimes, because if anything goes wrong, it's all down to me, he said.


CERAMIQUE INTERNATIONALE LAUNCHES SHAPE-FOCUSED


COLLECTION Responding to the growing trend for geometric tile shapes, tile supplier Ceramique Internationale has added a new collection, featuring small- format hexagons, to its portfolio.


Art Deco tile is a handmade-effect wall and floor tile in an on-trend hexagonal shape. For the floor, the glazed tile is available in three monochromatic shades – Plain Black, Plain White and Shaded Grey.


The hexagon shapes, stocked in petite 8x9cm format, can be used in a variety of colour combinations and placements to create a unique geometric design every time.
