EDITOR’S VOICE TCF CONTACTS EDITORIAL

Welcome to the August 2018 issue of Tomorrow’s Contract Floors,

As autumn draws closer it can mean just one thing the return of the Flooring

Show in Harrogate. To help you to make the most of the three-day event, we have provided a preview of what to expect and who to see. This is the first year that the Ocean Media Group has taken on the running of the show so there’s sure to be plenty of new features for 2018.

Here at TCF we are starting to look towards the end of the year when we celebrate the flooring industry in our annual awards. We are now accepting nominations so if you know of a product or service that deserves to win then please drop me an email to sarah@opusbm.co.uk and let me know why. We will be producing an Awards Guide in the winter to help you vote in our public poll which opens in

January 2019. As always, I’m really excited to see the wide variety and submissions and compiling our shortlist of finalists.

In this month’s issue we are shining the spotlight on flooring in Care Facilities with expert opinion on designing dementia-friendly interiors and how to provide safe installations without restricting access for residents.

We also look at Cleaning & Maintenance with an exciting aviation museum rebuild project from Bradite and advice on looking after a range of floorcoverings from some of the biggest names in the cleaning industry.

I hope you enjoy the issue!
