KARNDEAN DESIGNFLOORING —
STAND C25/26 Karndean Designflooring is set to offer Flooring Show visitors a close-up look at its new Knight Tile and Opus designs, and the chance to be the first to preview three new additions to its Art Select woods collection.
As well as expanding its modern oak offering with popular light, neutral tones and statement slates, for the first time the Knight Tile collection will feature Spotted Gum and Scandinavian Pine designs.
With its stylish range of modern and contemporary hues, the Opus range now features six new products featuring limed oak wood, shuttered concrete and limestone designs.
To keep up with the growing trend to match designs ‘room to room’ or create divides in open plan spaces, the Knight Tile range includes four new exclusive smaller plank designs (18”x3”) and the Opus collection features two smaller tiles (18”x3”), which can be perfectly placed alongside the matching
full-size plank or tile and laid in a variety of formations, such as block, brick or herringbone, to bring an extra sense of style and interest to any room.
Paul Barratt, Managing Director of Karndean Designflooring said: “Being able to add a new dimension of intriguing designs to our Knight Tile and Opus collections will allow us to expand our offering to specifiers, giving extra flexibility at the point of specification. The wide variation of wood and stone designs and tones available mean there are options for all commercial spaces.
Technically excellent, the fibre affords both styles lasting colour and stain- resistance, as well as incredible softness and will be a focus for this year’s stand. Joining Cashmere and Cashmere Luxe – both crafted from supersoft polypropylene – Pashmina reinforces Halcyon’s suitability for any retailer looking to capitalise on the demand for supersoft carpets.
The popular Touchdown collection is also being shown, this time with a brand-new introduction in Serenade. A luxurious 60oz soft-touch saxony crafted from stain-resistant polypropylene, the style comes in 16 modern colours and in four and five- metre widths.
LANO – STAND M19 Lano will be taking the opportunity to showcase developments to its Halcyon, Touchdown and X Concept collections at this year’s Flooring Show.
Pashmina and Pashmina Luxe, part of the Halcyon collection, mark Lano’s first foray into polyester qualities.

Lano will also be bringing two other Touchdown perennials – Fascination and Imagination – together under a brand-new look for Fascination. Combining plain and heather styles and available in four and five-metre widths, the new-look Fascination keeps best- selling colours, while introducing new on-trend shades for a 16-strong palette.
“Having the opportunity to introduce smaller tile and plank designs in herringbone, brick or block laying pattern against our matching full-size plank or tile adds a new visual element to consider.”
Visitors to the Karndean stand will also be the first to see three new Art Select wood designs. Karndean’s designers have explored the deciduous woodlands of Europe and the historic rural heart of North America to find stunning designs that will bring a contemporary or statement look to commercial spaces.

This new colourbank also drives changes to Genius, a range that has found widespread use in the housebuilder market, with Lano showing the style in 10 new colours sampled from the updated Fascination range.
For fans of the premium X Concept, Lano will also use The Flooring Show to reveal the brand-new polyamide of Pleasure, a luxurious and fine velvet quality that continues to uphold the collection as one packed full of the latest and greatest carpet styles that Lano has to offer. In polyamide type 6.6 that gives better resistance to stains than standard type 6, Pleasure brings enduring softness and an exquisite silk-look.
For the value-driven Bajong line, The Flooring Show will see the first unveil of Montana Superb. This super heavyweight saxony, weighs in at 2,900g/m2
and modern colours.
