Rawlins launches air steriliser
Denis Rawlins is now offering customers a complete COVID-secure, and post-COVID, hygiene solution, thanks to the launch of the innovative Ilimex Air Steriliser.
Rawlins has added the breakthrough indoor air steriliser to its range of COVID-proof cleaning systems, enabling users to continuously eliminate 99.9999% of airborne pathogens.
In a UK first, the Ilimex Air Steriliser rapidly eradicates viruses and bacteria on the first pass through the unit’s unique sterilisation chamber. It then continues to sterilise the air five times every hour, improving air quality by removing pollutants
and health hazards, including coronavirus.
Unlike other models currently available on the market, Rawlins’ latest launch instantly kills any trace of bacteria, without producing harmful Ozone during the sterilisation process. The unit can be easily installed retrospectively in a range of settings, including schools and universities, hotels, restaurants and pubs, offices, transport and healthcare facilities.
The Ilimex Air Steriliser draws in air from a space and passes it through an activated carbon pre-filter. The pre-filter removes most of the larger dust, hair, PM10 and pollen particles from the air. The second stage high-quality HEPA filter removes the finer particles that escape from the pre-filter. The remaining pathogens present in the air then pass through the UVC chamber which kills them instantly on the first pass.
Independent testing has shown that the UVC chamber alone eradicates more than 99.9999%. When combined with the other sterilisation technologies in the unit, it produces an unrivalled kill rate, far greater than other products available on the market.

New appointments to boost growth
Leading commercial contract cleaning provider Ecocleen has announced two new appointments to its team to spearhead the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Sarah Fear has been appointed as the company’s new Business Development Manager, with Nicholas Calderwood joining the team as Bid Writer.
Sarah Fear joins Ecocleen from Citron Hygiene, where she was responsible for identifying prospect national account opportunities and closing new business to achieve both company and account growth per annum. In her role as Business Development Manager, Sarah will be fundamental in nurturing and developing relationships with key customer accounts, as well as building long term relationships with all stakeholders and driving growth in new markets.
Nicholas Calderwood brings an outstanding track record in managing bids on a global scale, having previously worked at Blue Water Shipping as Global Contracts Coordinator. With Ecocleen’s ambitious growth plans underway, Nicholas will be instrumental in preparing documents to win contracts to provide services and communicating with Procurement Officers from various organisations.
