Mapei’s solutions for industrial resin flooring include the Mapefloor i302SL resin system, a two component multipurpose epoxy formulate for industrial floors which complies with standards applied to the drinks and foodstuffs industry. Mapefloor i302 SL can be used to create self- levelling or multi-layer resin coatings to form an attractive, smooth, or non-slip finish.

Mapefloor i302 SL has been installed at the Morrisons food processing plant near Northwich in Cheshire; the new flooring had to be ‘taint-free’, hence the specification of the Mapefloor i302 SL resin flooring which is safe and compliant for use in areas of food preparation and storage.

The versatility of the Mapefloor i302 SL product allowed it to be used as two systems; first as a high-build coating for foot traffic areas and secondly, as a self-levelling system for area where fork-lift trucks would be operating.

Showing Grace, Under Pressure

An industrial floor has the toughest job in the building; being required to withstand constant traffic, mechanical wear, corrosive liquids, high temperatures and impacts. If the floor can’t handle the stress, everything else is in jeopardy. That’s why so many people rely on Sika – because the beauty of our industrial flooring is not just on the surface, it goes all the way down to the core.

Our floors stand the test of time. Each one is designed and installed to suit the specific conditions and requirements of each individual project. There are myriad variables and we take every one of them to heart. We figure the more time we spend perfecting our floors, the longer our floors will spend with you.
