EDITOR’S VOICE TCF CONTACTS EDITORIAL

Welcome to the September 2018 issue of Tomorrow’s Contract Floors,

The year seems to have passed incredibly quickly; it’s already time for the kids to

go back to school and the flooring industry to descend on Harrogate for the annual Flooring Show. With this in mind, we bring you a bumper edition with a special

focus on education settings as well as a Flooring Show Guide featuring some of the highlights and big-name brands you won’t want to miss.

As many flooring contractors have been busy while schools were on summer holidays, our Education section features a host of stunning case studies from

Milliken, Forbo and Altro. We also hear from Sika on the key factors to consider when specifying for educational settings while F. Ball and Co. Ltd. advise on selecting products that will ensure that strict deadlines can met on time.

We go from school to work in our Contract Carpet section. As the trend for ‘zoning’ increases, Interface outlines how contractors can save time and money when

working with hard and soft flooring to create seamlessly blended multi-functional spaces. We then take a look at an award-winning workplace installation from

Shaw and a workspace interior design company’s own office fit-out where carpet tiles from DESSO have added a vibrant pop of colour.

Elsewhere in the issue, we take a look at Sound Reduction Systems and feature some feathered friends in our Spotlight.

If you’re going to Harrogate, please do come and see us on stand B50. I hope you enjoy the issue!
