THE FLOORING SHOW

CAUSEWAY CARPETS UNVEILS NEW LOOK

Causeway Carpets arrived at The Flooring Show ready to show how Fibre to Floor is the secret to the quality and accessibility of its wool and soft-touch polyester ranges. In a new identity that brings its displays and point of sale a premium look, the brand showed the country’s independent retailers just how it can bring stores a unique range of carpets that deliver something different.

Richard Moore, commercial director for Causeway Carpets, said: “We were delighted with the response to our new brand at this year’s show. The new look Causeway Carpets is here to offer retailers something different. As part of Lusotufo, our ‘fibre to floor’ manufacturing brings excellence and allows us to keep an exacting eye on quality at every part of the carpet- making process. For retailers and homeowners, this means carpets that are enduring and a true investment in the home. It was good to see this resonate with retailers and we’re excited about seeing where their positivity and enthusiasm for Causeway Carpets leads.”

Alongside unreleased developments and test samples to gather feedback on upcoming products, Causeway Carpets also used The Flooring Show to present its Endura, Natura and Luxura collections on their new display units. Now in a coordinated blue finish, these new displays will elevate the brand’s positioning in store. Causeway Carpets has also introduced a mini lectern, which is created for retailers wanting to take the first steps with

F. BALL FOCUSES ON ADHESIVES AT THE FLOORING SHOW

F. Ball reinforced its reputation for the high performance and reliability of its iconic yellow bucket adhesives at a well- attended Flooring Show in September.

The adhesives theme centred around the company’s ‘Quality worth banging on about’ advertising campaign, highlighting the work that goes on behind the scenes to make sure that flooring professionals can rely on the performance and quality of the Styccobond adhesives range. This includes research and development to create the next generation of flooring adhesives, as well as testing compatibility to provide over 6,000 adhesive recommendations for floorcoverings produced by over 200 manufacturers in the company’s industry-leading Recommended Adhesives Guide (RAG).

What has become a regular feature of the exhibition, a drinks reception at the F. Ball stand on the Monday afternoon of the show, was particularly popular this year. The ‘stick ‘n’ spin’ competition was also well received, with many people taking part and winning great prizes.

As were live demonstrations of its Styccobond adhesives and subfloor preparation products, including the latest addition to its range of smoothing compounds, Stopgap 1400, delivered by the company’s training department on the stand’s live demonstration area; being well received by delegates.

Commenting on the company’s exhibition, F. Ball sales director Karl Brannigan said: “At this year’s Flooring Show, we emphasised not only the quality and reliability of adhesives, but the expertise involved in ensuring that we constantly push the boundaries of flooring adhesives technology and they perform as intended, as well as the support we offer to help get the most out of them. We don’t always emphasise this enough, but it’s an important aspect of our offer and sets us apart from other manufacturers.

“Thanks to everyone who attended and visited our stand. As always, there was a great atmosphere when the flooring industry came together for the drinks reception.”

the company. The lecterns set new standards for clarity, design, and in-store impact, supporting retailers with class-leading tools that drive sales.

“We’re working hard behind the scenes to improve support and service as we want the new Causeway Carpets to be seen as a marque of quality by today’s independent flooring retailers,” continued Richard. “Our new brand is the first step in that journey – through our Fibre to Floor philosophy and a sophisticated look, we’re echoing the quality of our carpets and making Causeway Carpets not just a name to trust, but one that’s aspirational too.”
