To honour this centenary, Mercado is taking the opportunity to give back to the people and communities who have supported the company throughout its journey.

Building on this success, organisers announced the launch of The Flooring Show South, taking place at Sandown Park, Surrey, on 15–16 April 2026. Designed to bring the same quality experience closer to professionals across southern England, this new spring edition will make it easier than ever for retailers, contractors, and suppliers in the region to connect and do business.
Over 50% of the floor space for The Flooring Show South was booked during The Flooring Show 2025. Due to unprecedented demand, additional stands have now been added.
Launch partners for The Flooring Show South include Elements & Textures Inspirations, F Ball & Co, Furlong Flooring, J2 Flooring, Kellars, and Likewise Floors – all of whom will showcase new products and set the tone for this exciting event.
The flagship northern edition will return to Harrogate from 20 – 22 September 2026, continuing its six-decade tradition as the definitive meeting place for the UK’s flooring sector.
Both events will celebrate the flooring industry in all its forms: combining education, innovation, and opportunity for the entire supply chain.

As part of the centenary celebrations, Mercado launched a series of special giveaways, promotions, and competitions at The Flooring Show, designed to demonstrate their appreciation and share the joy of this historic occasion. These promotions will continue throughout the rest of the year.
One of the standout initiatives will see Mercado gift 100 free rolls of carpet to customers across its network who, in turn, can gift this to someone in their own community who may need it.
A series of promotions has also been created with the support of suppliers to provide customers with some fantastic discounts. Highlights include Love2Shop vouchers with selected purchases and discounts ranging from 5% to 20% on a curated selection of products.
Customers also have the chance to take advantage of a number of competitions, the highlight being the chance to win a trip to Italy. The prize includes a guided tour of the Kerakoll factory, a Ferrari factory visit, and a luxurious dinner and hotel stay. There’s still time to enter, the competition runs until 30 November. To take part, order Kerakoll Proflow Smooth or Proflow Rapid, with every pallet counting as an entry.
