HOSPITALITY & LEISURE

CALM MATERIALITY

Wood surfaces from Havwoods help to bring a sense of tranquillity and softness to The Grilandia Restaurant, in London.

A celebration of organic tactility, Havwoods’ wood surfaces have helped transform the interiors of Grilandia, a refined restaurant and dining space in Mayfair. Working closely with design studio Accanto Interiors, Havwoods’ panelling helped shape the tone and rhythm of the interior through thoughtful materiality and a strong sustainability ethos.

Havwoods’ Brienne PurePanel and White Oak Ondato M20 Sheet were specified, to provide both visual integrity and performance reliability while creating a sense of calm and softness through the interior design scheme. Chosen in the Platinum colourway, the Brienne PurePanel is pre-finished and offers a low-waste option while visually complementing the pared-back palette and organic textures within the space. Featured on the bar façade and within discreet display niches, the Ondato M20 Sheet from the Elegante collection introduces subtle texture and detail to the scheme, sitting in perfect harmony amongst the space’s sensory narrative.

A wonderful combination of wood, fabric and organic forms, the bespoke scalloped banquette sitting at the centre of the dining
