RECOMMENDED ADHESIVES GUIDE (RAG® )
To help select the most suitable adhesive for a particular installation and avoid the risk of costly floor failure, F. Ball produces its industry acclaimed Recommended Adhesives Guide (RAG®
)
for checking the compatibility of adhesives and floorcoverings. The most authoritative publication of its kind features adhesive recommendations for over 6,000 branded floorcoverings from over 200 leading international floorcovering manufacturers.
Every adhesive recommendation in the RAG® is only included
in the guide after the completion of a rigorous 56-day testing programme and endorsement of the recommendation by each floorcovering manufacturer.

Training programmes, which run year-round, are led by experts from within the company, cover subfloor preparation, moisture management, and adhesive selection, and provide an opportunity to use a range of F. Ball products. They include specialist courses for flooring retailers and a three-day course on achieving optimum results when installing LVTs.
FLOORSIGHT ™ APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME
F. Ball has partnered with the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) and WEBS training, supported by the Contract Flooring Association (CFA), to launch its own apprenticeship programme, called Floorsight ™
, to provide career pathways in flooring aimed at ensuring the future of the industry.
It has been founded, in part, to tackle the persistent skills gap in the contract flooring industry and encourage younger people to consider careers in the flooring industry.
The first cohort saw 10 young people join the programme and placed with partnering flooring contractors.
In addition to on-the-job learning, apprentices benefit from blocks of specialist training delivered at the F. Ball Centre of Excellence by experts from the company’s training and Technical Service

This means that a long- lasting, aesthetically pleasing floor finish is assured when using combinations of F.
