WHAT’S NEW? RETURN TO FLANDERS

Flanders Flooring Days returns from 18–21 May 2026, bringing the global flooring industry back to Kortrijk, Belgium, for its fifth edition – and momentum is clearly building.

The event continues to strengthen its reputation as a must- attend date for flooring professionals across manufacturing, specification, distribution and retail.

What sets Flanders Flooring Days apart is its hybrid format. Visitors can explore leading manufacturers at their own production sites across the region, while also discovering a wide range of brands and innovations under one roof at Kortrijk Xpo. This dual approach offers a unique opportunity to combine product sourcing with behind-the-scenes insight into manufacturing processes, helping professionals make more informed decisions.

The 2026 edition is further reinforced by partnerships with Fedustria and Centexbel, adding both industry weight and technical depth. Fedustria will showcase Belgian expertise through its ‘Belgian Textile’ pavilion, while Centexbel contributes

to a forward-looking seminar programme focused on innovation and sustainability.

Knowledge sharing remains central to the event, with seminars and live demonstrations addressing some of the sector’s most pressing challenges. Highlights include findings from the Living Lab Carpet project, which explores circular solutions such as reuse, repair and recycling, alongside practical applications for reclaimed materials.

With a strong returning exhibitor base, growing international reach and a clear focus on future-facing topics, Flanders Flooring Days 2026 is set to deliver valuable insights, meaningful connections and tangible business opportunities for flooring professionals at every level.

Vinyl flooring specailist, Beauflor, is one of the Belgian companies joining Flanders Flooring Days. Taking place in the flooring heartland of Belgium this May, the event sees some of the world’s largest flooring companies open their showrooms in what the organisers describe as a ‘synergy between fairground and showroom’.

For Beauflor, the event gives the chance for all flooring specialists to visit the impressive Experience Centre to relax in the comfort of warm hospitality and to ‘get behind’ the surprising qualities of today’s sheet vinyl floors. Visitors will also discover four global trend themes influencing its Belgian design team and can enjoy a seamless transition from the Kortrijk Xpo to the Experience Centre with a complimentary shuttle service.

Design, Product & Marketing Director, Michèle Bruynseels said: “Our collections are guided by global design trends. We use them to influence the materials, patterns and textures we look towards and the colours and tones we choose. Our team translates these with our leading and highly flexible digital printing technology so customers can always find the latest, trending designs in our collections. We’re looking forward to showing just what digital printing can do and what’s

influencing our current and future designs to people visiting us at Flanders Flooring Days.”

One of the four themes, ‘return to being’ will be put in the spotlight as Beauflor explores how we are in a period of transition, shifting away from an era of mass appeal and copy-paste culture into an age of authenticity where craft and humanity are key driving influences in design. From rich, weathered and lime effects in wood to tactile, character- driven stone and between, it will be a fascinating behind the scenes look at Beauflor’s sheet vinyl flooring collections.

The influence of other global themes in Echo Present, Still Light and Liquid Reality will also be felt in the flexibility and creativity explored at the Experience Centre, demonstrating how Beauflor is shaping today’s vinyl flooring for tomorrow’s home through design-centric, seamless flooring that brings comfort and ease of living.

Beauflor will be at Flanders Flooring Days, 18–21 May, opening its Experience Centre, Rijksweg 442, 8710 Wielsbeke and booth 173 at Kortrijk Xpo.
