WHAT’S NEW?

FROM INSPIRATION TO INSTALLATION: HAVWOODS INTRODUCES NEW SAMPLE KIT

Wood surface specialist Havwoods is introducing a new sample box for Spring 2026, designed to support architects, interior designers and developers throughout the material specification process.

Bringing together a curated selection of hero flooring samples alongside complementary surface solutions in a beautifully packaged box, the kit enables finishes to be reviewed side by side, helping designers move confidently from early concept development through to final material selection – and build their sample libraries in the process.

To support a wide range of project sectors and specification requirements, the boxes can be configured to suit different design needs. Options include luxury residential flooring edits, mixed flooring and surface selections, dedicated surface boxes and high-street project formats, with a workspace-focused version currently in development. This flexible approach allows Havwoods to provide more customised material tools that respond directly to the evolving needs of designers and specifiers, supporting them from early inspiration to completed installation.

Manufactured on-site in Surrey using entirely FSC-certified materials, the boxes reflect Havwoods’ continued focus on responsible sourcing and local production. The outer construction uses high-quality, fully recyclable uncoated paper produced in the UK, helping to reduce transport distances and associated emissions while maintaining a premium finish.

Physical sampling continues to play a central role in material decision-making. Havwoods’ luxury wood samples, available via next-day delivery, enable designers to build and refine their sample libraries quickly and more effectively. Experiencing timber surfaces in situ ensures that grain, colour variation and scale can be evaluated with confidence.

Alongside physical samples, Havwoods provides a comprehensive digital platform for material exploration. Its online inspiration gallery showcases real interior projects across residential, commercial and hospitality settings, allowing designers to reference practical applications and identify new surface opportunities. Detailed technical information, product specifications and ordering functionality further support efficient project planning.

By offering both physical and digital resources, Havwoods enables designers to move seamlessly from inspiration through to installation, ensuring timber surfaces can be specified with clarity, creativity and technical assurance.
