NEW F. BALL TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE
F. Ball and Co. Ltd. has appointed Steve Lane as technical representative for the East Midlands.
As one of F. Ball’s regional technical representatives, he will provide expert technical advice and on-site assistance to flooring contractors across the region on best practice in subfloor preparation and
floorcovering installation and how to get the most out of F. Ball products. This will include conducting site visits and producing case-specific reports advising on the best course of action for particular flooring projects.

Prior to that, Steve worked in the flooring trade for over 30 years, starting his career as a flooring apprentice at 16 years old and fitting all kinds of textile and resilient floorcoverings in domestic and commercial settings. He later started his own flooring business, building up a small team of floor fitters while always remaining hands-on. During this time, he developed a preference for F. Ball subfloor preparation products and adhesives.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I’m excited to take the hands-on product knowledge and experience deployed as a training officer directly to professionals in the field.
