BOELS RENTAL ROLLS
OUT NEW BRANCH On 8 May, Chris Haycocks, Managing Director of Boels in the UK, performed the Grand Opening of the brand-new Boels branch in Liverpool.
More than 200 prominent guests were welcomed by Chris, who also cut the ribbon for the official opening celebration. The event is part of an introduction campaign that Boels Rental is rolling out in the UK.
Boels Rental is following a growth strategy in the UK as it is in the rest of Europe. Through the acquisition of Supply UK, Boels already started out with a network of 19 tool hire branches and six branches specialising in Survey & Laser. The acquisition of Already Hire followed in April 2018, adding four new branches in London. Today, counting the new branch in Liverpool, Boels Rental operates in 29 locations across the UK.
Chris Haycocks said: “I can't rule out that more acquisitions will follow in the near future. The aim is to operate at least 50 branches in the UK by 2020.”

SYLKA submitted an entry which featured a high-profile project on board the world’s largest luxury trimaran, MY Galaxy of Happiness, and went on to win a public vote.
Other competitors at this year’s event included private jet designers Boeing and Gulfstream, as well as host of other big names in the world of yacht and aviation design.
Steve Farrell, Founder and Managing Director of SYLKA, said: “We are absolutely delighted with our latest win at this year’s International Yacht and Aviation Awards.
“Over the last few years our influence in this market has grown significantly and it is now an important part of our business.
“Our project on the Galaxy of Happiness was unique and I am glad that the judges and those that voted were able to appreciate the work that our team and the designer, Marek Olko of O&O European Design, had put in.”
MY Galaxy of Happiness is one of a number of yacht projects that SYLKA’s specialist marine team has worked on this year.
