TO F. BALL High performance floor preparation products from F. Ball and Co. Ltd. have been used in the installation of the flooring at a new luxury apartment project, 190 The Strand, in central London. Contractors from Affinity Flooring used Stopgap Green Bag levelling compound to provide a high- quality floor finish across the 6000m2 area, ahead of the installation of new Cavalier Cartouche floorcoverings.
The anhydrite subfloor had been prepared and left to dry out naturally and surface ground after the building’s construction several months earlier. Following a consultation and survey with an F. Ball representative, Stopgap P121 acrylic primer and Stopgap Green Bag and 114 Liquid were selected for the project.

out any undulations and provide a level finish for the installation of the floorcoverings. Stopgap Green Bag is a fast setting, low odour general-purpose levelling compound, suitable for use in light to heavy-duty applications over a wide range of subfloor types.
Stopgap Green Bag has excellent self- smoothing properties, meaning that minimal work with a trowel is required, and it can be walk-on hard in just 90 minutes. Once the underlayment had set and dried, an underlay was fitted and the new carpets were installed.

Carefully selected by Polyflor’s product design team, each Palettone shade works beautifully on its own, when installed alongside other complementary or contrasting shades, or as part of a bespoke waterjet design created by Polyflor in-house Design Service.
All 50 Palettone shades are available in 2 x 20m sheet format, while 12 of these shades are available in 608 x 608mm tiles and six are available in an
SD sheet specification. Polyflor Static Dissipative products are engineered for use where static control is required, so Palettone SD is ideal for use in telecommunications installations, computer rooms, electronic manufacturing and healthcare facilities, such as scanner rooms, X-ray suites and operating theatres.
