EDITOR’S VOICE TCF CONTACTS EDITORIAL

Welcome to the June 2018 issue of Tomorrow’s Contract Floors,

May was a busy month for us here at TCF and we were thrilled to visit so many flooring companies at Clerkenwell Design Week. It was such a vibrant and exciting

show and fantastic to see so many new launches and innovations being showcased in London’s design quarter. It was also a great opportunity to catch up with some of the people who work behind the scenes on the design and concept of some of

our most well known brands and collections. We will be featuring a full review of the show in our July issue.

We also took time out of the office to attend a Bona Inspiration Master Class in

Manchester. We were treated to a sneak peek of their new consumer-focused trend collections and given the chance to learn how to achieve some of the exciting new creative designs. Don’t miss our Spotlight feature on page 14 to find out more.

Also in this issue, we have a special focus on Vinyl, Linoleum & Rubber with advice from nora on specifying the right floorcoverings to promote the health,

wellbeing and productivity of all building users. F. Ball discusses how to avoid trowel serrations or ‘grin-though’ in our Adhesives & Sealants section and finally we take a look at some of the latest trends in our Marble, Stone & Terrazzo feature.

As well as all of this, we bring you our regular View from FeRFA column, which this

month looks at the importance of proper surface preparation, and F. Ball Marketing Manager Richard Harris answers our Ten Questions.

I hope you enjoy the issue!
