MULTIWASH SCRUBBER DRYER RANGE

by Truvox Global floorcare manufacturer and supplier Truvox International has an extensive range of popular and versatile Multiwash scrubber dryers. Last year, new coloured brushes were added to the range.

Compliant with the NHS national colour-coding scheme for hospital cleaning materials and equipment, they help to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

The distinct red, yellow, green and blue colours make it easy to separate tools into their correct area of use, supporting operatives and helping to raise cleaning standards.

OXIVIR RANGE by Diversey REGENEX

Regenex is a start-up company in Bradford, West Yorkshire, that has developed new methods in stain removal for hospital and healthcare linen.

Founded in 2017, and employing 12 people, Regenex works with many NHS trusts, healthcare organisations and their laundries across the UK, processing linen to clear stubborn marks – including food, fake tan, oil, rust, mould or chemicals such as iodine.

This means that good linen, that once would have been discarded, is now able to be returned to stock – and continue its life cycle for many washes to come.

A total of 70% of the carbon footprint of a poly/cotton bedsheet is accounted for in its manufacture. Just 30% relates to the subsequent washing, ironing and transportation during its life.

a huge environmental benefit – as well as saving the NHS, healthcare organisations and laundries many thousands of pounds on top-up stock.

Regenex’s gentle, multi-bath cleaning system is based on textile dyeing knowhow. Meticulously researched and developed – and independently tested – it involves opening fibres to release discolouration.

We are consistently successful in rescuing 75-80% of material that would otherwise be condemned to landfill or rag.

So far, Regenex has processed 500 tonnes of linen, saving 1,500 tonnes of carbon and 38 million litres of water – equivalent to the drinking water consumed by 3,750 people over 10 years.

Rejuvenating whites is not the only option for blemished linen. Regenex also re-bleaches and re-colours items of linen which fade long before wearing out.

accordance with industry standards. The red brushes are used for washrooms, with yellow ones for isolation zones, green in food preparation and service areas, and blue for general areas including wards, departments and offices.

Renowned for their versatility, Multiwash machines wash, scrub and dry both hard and soft floors in a single pass, leaving them ready to walk on in minutes. With its counter- rotating cylindrical brushes, it effortlessly sustains the pressure required to clean thoroughly in the grout lines of tiled floors and other crevices. The cordless Multiwash 340/ Pump Battery model is ideal for daytime cleaning. Economical in their use of water and solution, all Multiwash models clean effectively on a wide variety of floors – from vinyl and laminates to marble.

Complementing the machine’s standard black brush, the new coloured Multiwash brushes are available for the Multiwash 340 models and come in packs of two.
